In short: what it does and who it is for

DeskKit's invoice tool creates receipts, tax invoice-receipts and credit notes with running numbers, your logo and business details, and downloads them as a PDF. It is made for osek patur and osek murshe businesses and freelancers, and it is free with a free DeskKit account. It is not certified accounting software, and a small "Created with DeskKit" line appears at the bottom of each document.

Digital invoice vs. paper book

A digital invoice instead of a paper book

Digital invoices and receipts are far more common today than the old colored paper book: no binder to carry, no fear of losing a copy, and numbering that never slips. One thing worth knowing: the Israeli Tax Authority requires an "allocation number" for tax invoices above a threshold set by law, and that threshold has been lowered step by step in recent years. Check the current threshold on the Tax Authority website or with your accountant.

Good to know: DeskKit is a tool for creating well-designed documents, not certified accounting software. Before using the invoices and receipts for tax purposes, check with your accountant or tax advisor.

Numbering that never slips

Every document automatically continues from the last number, no manual tracking.

Matched to your business type

An osek patur gets a receipt, an osek murshe gets a tax invoice-receipt with VAT. The right document is picked by your business type.

Free, with a small label

Create documents without paying. A small "Created with DeskKit" line appears at the bottom of each one, and you can remove it with a one-time payment.

How to create a receipt or an invoice

  1. Log in with a free DeskKit account and fill in your business details once: name, business number, business type, phone and logo.
  2. Open a new document and fill in the client, the line items, the amounts and the payment method. You can also describe in one sentence what you are billing and let AI draft the lines.
  3. Check the document in the live preview and issue it. Only then does it get the next running number and lock for editing.
  4. Download the PDF and send it to the client. Every document stays in your account, and you can open it again from any device.

Invoices and receipts: FAQ

Is there a free tool here for an osek patur?

There is a free tool for creating osek patur receipts, with automatic running numbers, your logo and a PDF download. It is not certified accounting software, so check with your accountant before using the receipts for tax purposes.

Can I create receipts for free?

Yes. You create receipts and tax invoice-receipts without paying, with a free DeskKit account. A small "Created with DeskKit" line appears at the bottom of each document, and you can remove it with a one-time payment.

Can I create a deal invoice (cheshbon iska) here?

Not in this tool. It creates receipts, tax invoice-receipts and credit notes. For a deal invoice there is a free Excel invoice template (in Hebrew), and the difference between the documents is explained in the guide to invoice types (in Hebrew).

Can I add my logo to the invoice?

Yes. Upload your logo (an image file up to 4MB) in your business details, and it appears at the top of every document.

I made a mistake on an invoice I already issued. What now?

An issued document can no longer be edited, so the numbering stays sequential. You correct it with a credit note that refers to the original, then issue a new, correct document.
